LEGAL HELP FOR VETERANS
The law firm of Legal Help for Veterans, PLLC provides quality Legal Help for Veterans and their families in all federal veteran benefits matters. Our practice involves representing veterans and their dependents in appeals of denial of benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Representation includes claims appealed to the U. S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims as well as before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. Assistance is also provided with claims that are remanded, or sent back, to the Regional Office.
Our firm has represented thousands of veterans from throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and the Philippines.
Members of the Legal Help for Veterans practice group are former service members who bring not only legal expertise but an understanding of service and duty. The members of the group have medical and administrative backgrounds as well as finely honed legal skills developed over twenty years of practice and experience.
Members of the group have received various citations and accommodations for their service over the years. This has included numerous certificates of appreciation from and for, among others: the Association of Air National Guard Nurses, Association of Air National Guard Health Technicians, Order of the Medical Minuteman-Air National Guard Medical Service, and recognition by United States Congress for outstanding individual service to the community.
Members of Legal Help for Veterans are members of NOVA, National Organization of Veterans Advocates. Members of the Legal Help for Veterans have been lecturers and authors on a number of veterans and legal issues for a wide variety of groups. We meet regularly with veteran service organizations and veterans advocacy groups to work in concert with them to advance the issues important to all veterans.
Members of the firm have participated in educational programs provided by National Defense University and Senior Leader Orientation Course of the Department of the Air Force.
